So you listened to the message and maybe you're thinking, "is there something to this? Are my priorities really where they should be?" Only you and God can answer that question for sure, but maybe it's time that you actually invite Him into the conversation.
Are yo u a christian?
The first thing that you need to answer is if you are a Christian. We all have lived sinful lives and that sin prevents us from going to heaven when we die. You don't get to go to heaven because you were a good person or did more good than bad. The only way to be forgiven and cleansed is through accepting Jesus death on the cross as a punishment for your sins. John 3:16 God loved the world so much that He gave us His only Son, whoever believes in Jesus will not go to hell but have eternal life.

I Have Accepted Jesus, Now what?
Imagine that you were about to be thrown into jail for life, but at the very last second a judge allowed someone else to serve your sentence for you. What kind of thanks would you give to that person? Would it be a hearty handshake? Would you visit them one time in the slammer? Would you send them a yearly Christmas Card? A sacrifice of that magnitude deserves some serious gratitude. Many Christians these days believe that Jesus died for them, but they make themselves so busy that they forget to be thankful or to do anything about it. John 14:15 Jesus declares, "If you love me, keep my commands."
which ones?
The Bible is such a big book that it can seem overwhelming. Which commands of Jesus are we supposed to keep to show our thanks? It's actually easier than you think. Jesus himself gave us the answer when he was asked which one was the most important. Mark 12:30-31Jesus replied,"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” It's not about being good or being a decent person. It's all about loving God first in your life, loving people second and loving everything else behind those two.
how you doing?
Does the life that you are living show that you love God first? Here are some questions to help you honestly think about it; If you made a list of priorities, where does God show up on those? What in your life comes before God? Money, work, sports, rest, hobbies, etc. Is Jesus a part of everything that you do, or do you leave him at home when you go out? Do you read his book to show Him how much He matters? Do you pray and talk to Him everyday? Are you involved in a church to join with others in thanking Jesus for what he's done? Do your actions match your words?
what now?
You have two options. First you can keep doing what you're doing and stay too busy for God. If we're being honest, this is what most people are going to pick. But if you are ready to finally to live the life that you were created for, then you can take the red pill and see how deep the rabbit hole goes. You can put God back up top where He belongs. Get in the Bible, get talking to Him everyday, and get your butt in a pew with people who are ready for the same thing. Find a church where you can learn and grow and then go! You can't declare God to be number one and then not even be able to squeeze him in for an hour once a week.
Churches & organizations
There are some good churches in whatever area you're in, I'm sure of it. Maybe you even have a church that you slowly walked away from. Try one out, or get back involved! If you have no idea what church to try or where to start, a loving church or organization has put up these signs to help God get your attention. They are full of nonjudgmental, loving people who are doing their best to love God and love their fellow man.
